My research interests are in forensic and evolutionary psychology, with a focus on the following topics:
(1) Partner rape. My primary program of research has worked towards understanding the complex etiology of sexual aggression in relationships.
(2) Psychopathy. In addition to understanding how psychopathy is involved with sexual aggression in relationships, I am also interested in psychopathy cognition and the psychometric properties of psychopathy assessments.
(3) Risk assessments. I am interested in best-practices as it applies to developing and implementing risk assessments with special populations, such as mentally ill and developmentally disabled offenders.
